I can't hear any song in Spotify PC [Windows 10]

I tried to uninstall the application and re-install it again, and I also logged out from all my devices... And it still doesn't work. The funny part is that I can hear music in the Spotify Web Player but not in the PC application. So, I don't really understand what's the problem. 

Any solution?

I'm having the exact same issue on a Lenovo X1 Carbon laptop. Still works fine using the Spotify web player, but no audio when selecting the PC speakers. The problem arose on May 11, 2018.  Uninstalling and reinstalling the PC app didn't help either.
