Integration with LCARS System 3

Hello.  I know this is off topic for most threads here.  As a music fan and a Star Trek fan, I have converted my Windows desktop to the interactive LCARS System 3 skin for Rainmeter.  The LCARS skin has a built in media player integration which supposedly allows a connection to Spotify, however, I am having issues trying to get LCARS System 3 to recognize my Spotify app.  I'm also having difficulty finding any information online that explains how to fix this.  Does anyone out there have a fix or work around for this?

At the moment, Spotify doesn’t officially support third‑party desktop skins or system integrations such as Rainmeter. Because of that, we’re unable to provide direct troubleshooting for this setup. We’d recommend posting your question in the Help section of the Rainmeter forum, where other Rainmeter users may be able to share workarounds or solutions.
