Is the Picture In Picture (PIP) mode available on the desktop application?

I don't even want to watch videos, just have tiny audio control.

In the web player, there is a little button by the album art and play controls that changes you to "PIP Mode" that makes a little floating album art square window that is borderless and always-on-top, and when you mouse over it, gives you basic play control, and the option to go back to your main Spotify browser window/tab.

Does this exist in the standalone Spotify Windows desktop app? I can't imagine why it wouldn't, but I certainly cant find out how to enable it.
