My Question or Issue
I'm experiencing an issue when opening the Spotify URL (https://open.spotify.com) in the Edge browser on my system. If I force-close the browser via Task Manager, the screen starts blinking for a while.
The same issue occurs when opening the Spotify URL in a WebView2 control — even after closing the application, the screen continues to blink.
This behavior is consistent and is currently one of the biggest challenges we're facing. Has anyone encountered this or found a solution?
Hey @kailashsolanki08,
Thanks for reaching out.
In order for us to investigate this further, can you let us know the following:
If possible, send us a video of the behavior. If the file is too large to attach, you can upload it to Google Drive (make sure to allow general access to the file) or as an unlisted YouTube video.
Cheers,
hi, anyone can help me on this I have shared the video as well
Hey @kailashsolanki08,
Thanks for sharing the video.
Do you by any chance have a second monitor connected to your PC? If yes, then please share your details in this thread where we're investigating a similar issue.
If not, can you make sure that all pending system updates on your machine have been installed?
Cheers,
We have a Single 4k Monitor only, and yes, we have already installed all pending Windows 11 updates, and also installed the Intel Driver update as well.
Hey @kailashsolanki08,
Thanks for your reply.
What type of connection does the monitor use (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C)? Also, can you check if you get the same behavior when running Windows in Safe Mode with Networking?
Keep us posted.
We have the OPS (Open Pluggable Specification) machine of PLANAR, and it might be used internally; we don't have any HDMI cable like that.
Hey @kailashsolanki08,
Thanks for your reply.
I'm afraid that this issue is out of our scope since we deal with normal use scenarios, however we've noted your report and we'll be on the lookout for similar ones.
Cheers,
