Issue with library only showing 30 most recently saved songs

I've been having an issue lately where my Spotify library (desktop) is only willing to show the 30 most recent songs I've added to it. I have the latest version and it keeps doing this. If I type a single letter into the search bar it will show results for songs starting with that letter and I will then be able to see the rest of my library (1000 or so songs) but only if I search for something. 

It's quite irritating as well because if I am playing my library on shuffle, it will only shuffle between those 30 songs. 

If anyone else is dealing with a similar problem please let me know!! also if you have a solution that would be amazing. thank you 🙂
