Lagging and sluggishness when changing songs

My Question or Issue

Hello everybody , so my problem is in the windows 10 apps :

when i press play for a song it might play but the time bar lags behind for 4 or 5 seconds , if i press next the program would lag and take up to 5 to 10 seconds to go to the next song , if i try to change volume it takes 5 to 10 seconds for the sound level to actually change , i tried everything , installed the .exe version and the ms store version , turned on/off hardware accleration , updated my gpu drivers , nothing is solving it , looked at all related questions here but nothing helped , and this problem is only on pc , the android app works normal

The troubleshooting steps that you've tried so far are very good. We'd like to add a few more.

It's a good idea to give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall. This one is more thorough than the usual one.

We'd suggest you also try installing the app in a safe mode to see if there are any changes.

In case the issue persists, you can send us a video recording of what you're seeing. You can also share with us the exact Spotify version that is running on your PC. We'll look into this further.
