NEXT STEP desktop player doesn't seem to be scrobbling desktop player doesn't seem to be scrobbling

I have already disconnected and reconnected accounts multiple times but nothing seems to be working on desktop while it works fine on android. AS for plugins it only shows Windows media player and itunes.

Could you try the following to see if that does the trick:

  1. Unlink your Spotify account from
  2. Perform a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps here
  3. Re-link your Spotify account to

In case the issue persists, it's worth checking if reinstalling Spotify from a different source would fix this: if you downloaded the app from the Microsoft Store, try the one from our website instead, and vice versa. Also, if you're using a VPN, try disabling it temporarily and check if your tracks would scrobble then.
