My Question or Issue

Using either downloaded Desktop app or the Windows Store version, my Recently Played (Library link) isn't working for the past week suddenly.

I have restarted my pc, uninstalled, deleted stuff, reinstalled both versions at different times, and ever since the disapear of my Recently Played, nothing will bring it back on my Windows 10 main pc that I use with Spotify.

My Android tablet and phone each have Recently Played populated fine. This is probably the same as is on Desktop app HOME though, which is fine, it's just the link under desktop is totally devoid of what was recently played though others areas report it just fine and it used to until recently.

I have the same problem. When it does work, it often is hit or miss with some songs not showing up.

Hey @Crazy-Maisy and @WhitePine,

Thanks for reaching out on the Community and apologies for the delayed response, as we just came across this thread.

Could you both confirm, if right now you're still experiencing this situation with the 'Recently played' function not working on your desktop app? If yes then it's worthwhile to perform a clean reinstall of the desktop app, as this is more thorough than the normal one and ensures that no cached data will cause interference with the new installation. Check if this will shake things up and normalize the behavior of the functionality.

Hope this helps. Let us know how you get on.
