Loading takes minutes every time

It's taking literally minutes (around 5) for Spotify to load. I've uninstalled, rebooted, re-installed and rebooted to no avail.

It takes 2-3 minutes for the menu options Playback and Help to appear. Then I'm presented with a black content screen. Selecting Play does nothing and after a total of seven minutes, my absolute threshold of patience, it's still a black screen.

Spotify Desktop (I've just downloaded the latest install but I can't confirm this as Help> About presents nothing) on Windows 10 Pro 1703 15.63.413.

Same here... I'm using the Desktop Linux app and it takes about 3 minutes to load the program. Once it is loaded, It works just fine. The only other issue that I can find is the really high usage of CPU and RAM... 

Is it the same for you?

Reinstallation and re-run worked.
