My Question or Issue

Whenever I put my local files my Spotify takes so long to load them in. Sometimes it just crashes. Yes, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Spotify. I tried deleting everything in local files for Spotify. Including my profile and everything. Even in local and roaming. I have tried putting my local files songs in different folders in chunks, so it won’t overload it. So please don’t tell me I need to do that because I already did. When I was on the older version of Spotify around 0.9.15 or something like that, I had no problems whatsoever. Everything imported smoothly. So, I have seen in the posts that it can be a cap that is limiting it to, but I don’t believe that because if the older version worked so easy how come the recent version can’t? So, is there a fix or am I going to just use a very old version of Spotify?

Thanks!

Edit - I found an old version, 0.9.15.27.g87efe634 and that one works fine. I don't even have to break up my music into folders it just adds my music to local files with ease and no lag or crashes. I will probably use this version until the newer version works normally again.
