My Question or Issue
I have deleted local files from my spotify but they are still listed in my library. I have uninstalled/reinstalled and deleted the local-files.bnk file but still they are listed and greyed out. Anybody able to help please?
Cheers,
Brendan
Hey @brendan15
That's odd!
I noticed they are saved (ticked). They should go away from your Saved Songs when you unsave (untick) them.
Let me know what happens 🙂
Hey @Sebasty
Thank you for your response!
If only it was that simple though, unfortunately unticking them does nothing 😞
Hi,
Have you turned off Local Files inside Spotify settings?
Try that and see how it goes.
Have a nice day 🙂
Hi,
I got another one for you. Try installing another version of Spotify.
If you have the Windows Store version try the exe one and vice versa.
Also try to login with another Spotify account to see if the issue persists.
Hope it helps 🙂
So i uninstalled the Windows store version and downloaded the exe version but no joy.
When you say sign into a different account do you mean with somebody else's?
Thanks for the help btw
Yes, use someone else's account. It might be yours that is having this issue.
Tried a different account and the library was empty so it must be something to do with my account?
Probably.
Try with your account back to see it if continues. If so try to delete Spotify thoroughly. Download IObit Unistaller to help you on that. You can manually double check AppData>Local>Packages, then you find a folder with Spotify name on it and delete it.
Hope it helps 🙂
