Macros/Hotkeys not working

My Question or Issue

 I am trying to use an external macro program to use the shortcut keys to just be a simple button to press, but they do not work in spotify. Such as the minimize button works on every other program on my desktop just not spotify. I even tried the list of shortcut keys such and none of them work as macros they work with the keyboard but as soon as you turn them into a macro spotify ignores them. I even added delay still nothing. I have made plenty of macros for all my other programs and they work no problems. It is crazy the universal ones such as minimize or maximize which I know are functioning are not within spotify. I read other people in the forum telling people they can use macros, but I don't understand why I am having such a hard time.

In this case, it's best if you try a clean reinstall. Then, try to add the macros to the app to see if the issue persists.
