Maximized window broke after minimize to tray

To reproduce:

1. Turn on option "Close button should minimze the Spotify window to the tray"

2. Click "maximize window" button

3. Click "close window"

4. Double click spotify icon on tray.

The result is not maximized window. Will show in screencast

Start off by running a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your laptop. This will get you the latest app version with all necessary updates. 

If this persists after the clean reinstall, check your hosts file for entries that need to be deleted. Follow the steps described here on how you can do that.

Solved, reason was Windows 10 build version. Previously it was build 17314, now updated to  19042. Thanks
