Media Keys Help

ok so say if I'm listening to music and playing a game, i want to hear something without pausing the music so i try to turn it down using media keys but it turns down my pc volume which is spotify and the game, is there a way to just make media keys work for spotify so i could turn it down without turning down the game thanks
