Missing overlay option?

 My Question or Issue

So i have been reading up how spotify has this overlay option (or atleast had?).

Most simple question first: has it been removed?

In case the answer to the first question is a "No" then i will move on to the actual problem.

I was looking at this topic for info how to enable it: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Windows/Top-Left-Overlay/td-p/3800477

In my supprise i did not find such option there and looked around this site for info and i found there has been someone else with the same problem: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Windows/Missing-Display-Option/m-p/1720355

So in case all of the above was not pointless does anyone have info on why it is missing?
