Multi-room group disappeared

I updated both the Alexa and Spotify apps and now my Alexa Multi-Room group no longer shows up or plays from Spotify on either iphone, PC or by telling Alexa to play on the "Everywhere" group.

All Alexa devces are found and will all play individually. both through apps or voice control

The Multi-Room feature still works using Amazon music either through the app or by telling Alext to play on the "Everywhere" group.

I have :

Renamed the group - it still doesn't show up on Spotify

Deleted the group and re-crested it using an alternate name - didn't work

uninstalled both Spotify and Alext apps - didn't work
