Hey @reza_jl

A frozen app is likely caused by either a corrupt Spotify download/update or some general system-related issues as well as network.

I recommend a clean reinstall:

1. Close Spotify and uninstall it.
2. Go to %AppData% in Windows Explorer, and delete any Spotify folders you find in Local and Roaming folders.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Install Spotify from here (online installer). If that still causes this issue, try clean reinstall again and download this one (offline installer).

If the issue persists, please open the Resource Monitor and see if any of the resources are being used a lot while Spotify is freezing. Report back what you see 🙂

I also recommend installing Windows updates. Windows 10 installs driver updates as well.

It could be a network issue too, so you can try restarting the router. Also make sure your antivirus is not blocking Spotify.

Keep me in the loop!

Strange!

I suggest doing the clean uninstall and trying out the Spotify app on Windows Store. It's called Spotify Music. 🙂

Keep me posted!
