My help opens in word not the internet

When I select help in spotify (or press F1) the page opens in word and is subsequently not formatted correctly. HTML flies launch firefox correctly where is the setting in spotify?

I am using windows 7

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

Spotify will just pass a system call to windows to open the link, meaning windows chooses which program to open it using. For me, it opens in chrome which is set as my default browser. Are you sure MS word is not set to open something strange in Control Panel > Default Programs?

Yep  you are correct for some reason my default program for all the H HTML files was windows word all now corrected and fine
