New Amazon Echo not appearing in device list

New Amazon Echo not appearing in device list

If this is a duplicate post, feel free to link to a previous discussion, but I couldn't find one that precisely matched my situation.  In my case, I am trying to play Spotify audio on a new Echo device that I've set up.  But when I go into the list of devices that I can play Spotify on, that particular device is missing from the list.  Other Echo devices that I own are there, just not the one I want.  How can I get Spotify to recognize the specific device in question?

 

Note: Yes, I'm posting this in Spotify for Windows, but I have this same issue when accessing Spotify from my iOS app as well.
