New episodes are not viewed in My library

My Question or Issue

It is a long issues. Both on Spotify's web version and computer version isn't viewed New episodes. But on My Android mobile device yes. I don't understand It.

Please, could You explain Me the problem?

This is quite interesting indeed. Does it mark the viewed episodes on the web/computer versions when you play them on your mobile device? If so then a solution would be to unlink your account from the web/computer apps and re-enter. Another solution would be to perform a clean reinstall.

I've tried to play one episode on My mobile and I've tried to find It on My computer.

I've also moved to now playing and It jumps me to the "favorited songs".

It is both on Desktop and on Web player too.

Also, here is My other reply.

I do previously re-installation and It doesn't help. Strange is, that It is similarly viewed on web player too.

It can be maybe problem with Spotify in Czech republic and Slovakia. I try to contact My other friends. Othervise, I'll delete My premium account. Maybe It helps the issue, or no?

Just to confirm, is it that you don't see them marked as played or listened to in the Your Episodes/New Episodes? Or you don't see the episodes on the podcast page as well?

If possible, feel free to include screenshots showing how things look from your end.

I am blind, so It'll be hard to do that.

Nextly, "My favourited songs" and 'My episodes' are viewed. But, when I have asked some of My blind friends, they has a same problem.

Alternative in this case can be to press news button and then find new episodes of My followed podcasts.

From what we understand, you're not able to see the whole New Episodes folder on desktop. It is just not certain episodes that are missing, right? You also mention your friends having the same issue, they don't see the folder on desktop as well?

Also, could you let us know what Spotify version you're using on the desktop app?

On My desktop I use

Version of Spotify 1.2.29.605.g66a43ceb

Thanks for providing your app version.

 

Just so we're sure we understood you correctly - your issue is that you can't access the New Episodes folder on your PC, is that correct? 

 

Note that this folder is available only on mobile. On desktop, you can use the bell icon (What's New) to check for new episodes of your favorite podcasts.
