Next up keeps re-adding songs

My Question or Issue

I'm using the desktop app and having a problem with the Next Up - it keeps re-adding content I've already played.

E.g. at the moment, I have one song in Now Playing, then there's Next In Queue with the albums I've added to my playlist, but then there's Next Up behind that, with content that I played ages ago, and I cannot get rid of it.  I can click on each individual song or select all of them at once and remove from queue - but the next time I restart the app, they'll be back again.

How do I get rid of them for good?
