No Apps / plugins after Update to latest version 1.0.1.805.gd2412973

After updating to the latest version all my plugins are gone, e.g. musicmatch etc. They are just not visible any more.

I downloaded the official installer and they were all back again. However the installer is obviously NOT the latest version, because the message of an available update shows up. After a restart again all my plugins are gone.

Additional clicking close all of a sudden really closes Spotify instead of minimizing it tot the tray. But maybe this is on purpose?!

Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

The new version 1.0.1 is the new update that everyone will be getting sometime in early 2015 once it is finished.

Apps have been discontinued.

Some form of musixmatch for lyrics will be coming back in in a future update from what I have heard

1.0.1 will be getting more updates that bring back more of the functionality that the old version had. There will also be improvements.

The developers are looking for feedback, so thanks for this thread.

I also forgot to mention that less than 1% of users have the new 1.0.1 update right now.

The developers are gathering feedback and will continue to release updates so that the full public launch will go smoothly at a later time

I hope they finally will bring back SORTING in searchresults, another totally essential feature that disappeared a few versions ago. I just LOVE updates!

This is so frustrating! I LOVED the Classify app and now it's just gone. And there's also the issue of not being able to click the album art to jump to the current track...how do we give Spotify feedback on the upgrade? (slash downgrade...)

Losing the apps is really a disappointment with the latest version.  Some of them, including Pitchfork, Deutsch Grammophon and Jazzify are seriously addictive.  

I'm wondering what the value of the latest version is.  

Is there any way to download the previous version?

I am now back to old version.
the new one is terrible. No title display available and no longer Minimizing possible.
Ubdate's really bad is not at all sorry.
I consider already to cancel my account.

I Know Spotify as decided to stop our use of the  Spotify Apps:
Because I had no message about before it uppgades to this bad new version, if this option does not come back in 30 days I will close my Spotify Account !
As I know lots of my friends will do the same
