there is simply no dislike button for the songs on the play lists !
and this is irritating and awful !
I'm a man of picky choices, and having to press the skip button endlessly is unbearable for me, and getting me frustrated every time I play one of spotify made playlist 😕

My friend, get used to it.

I’ve gone several months now without any form of dislike button on any of my devices and I mean all of them, Win10 PC, MacBook Pro Catalina, iPhone and iPad.

This is an ongoing issue and Spotify do not care about fixing it.

The only exception to this rule is if you are using the app on a mobile device, you can uninstall the app and THE FIRST time you sign in you can dislike songs. As soon as you close the app and open it up for a second time the button vanishes.

It’s got to the point now that after this month has finished renewing I’m going to be swapping to another music service.

This is a fantastic idea and it would give Spotify invaluable data directly from their customers. But it seems Spotify is not so much concerned with their customers than they are with pandering to political causes lately. Regardless, nobody pays attention to these forums - at least nobody from Spotify. If you want to present a new idea, you  have to follow the protocol. I could swear Spotify had a dislike button at some point, but maybe that's just me. Anyway, here's the procedure to submit a new idea:

Hey there @momozex,

Thanks for the feedback - we appreciate it! We always aim to improve, so we’ll get this passed on to the right team 🙂

While it's not yet possible to hide songs from a playlist that wasn't created by you on desktop, the feature is already available on mobile. You can check back here for any updates regarding this on desktop in the future.

@matty491 if you're experiencing issues with this feature on your mobile device, we'd recommend heading to one of the relevant help boards (Android or iOS) here and starting a new thread. We'll do our best to lend a hand there.

We hope this info is useful. Let us know if there's anything else we can help with.

nice,
please add to that, considering have to keep clicking next while driving / cycling isn't an option most of the time and could be life threatening activity , also it raise the stress level which is exact opposite for what the music meant to do,
the same apply when listening to music while working, having to stop focusing on the work and going to the app to click next again and again and again is such counter productive thing , which put me in front of a choice, stop the music, or listen to something stress me, or find alternate service,
