No music is playing, and when I try to play a playlist it skips through the whole thing.

No music is playing, and when I try to play a playlist it skips through the whole thing.

On the Windows 10 Desktop app, I am suddenly unable to play any music. When I try to play a single song Spotify seems to "skip" it and I get the message, "Spotify can't play this right now. If you have the file on your computer you can import it." When I try to play a playlist it "skips" through the whole thing. I've tried clean installing, logging out and back in, restarting my computer, and deleting my local files. This started randomly after a song finished. I am still able to use Spotify on my phone and play the same playlists/random songs, but on Desktop I am unable to do anything.

Hey @IanEuler,

Does this only happen to your local files, or also with other playlists?

If it's an issue with local files, try changing the source folder and import it to the app.

Provide us with a screenshot so we can have a better look.

Keep us posted 🙂
