Not able to turn offline mode off/go online

Hi, when I log in on my desktop, the computer says its offline, im not able to go online, and it gives an error code 4/no internet connection.

I have tried:

- to allow spotify through firewall

- change my facebook password..

- several different wifi-connections

I have no problems using my phone or the web player on my desktop.

Any suggestions?

Hey @jensvandel,

Was your FB password changed before this happened? You could try going to the settings and click the log out button (instead of just restarting the program). A few other users reported that changing there password also caused a similar problem.

Do you have any virus scanners like Norton installed?

I had an expired mcafee trial.. i removed it and now its working!! Thank you!
