Not playing a song

Solved!

Not playing a song

My app on windows 10 is not playing any songs. It shows them in the now playing spot for a split second and moves to the next repeatedly. it also throws up a message which i will attach. I have done multiple clean installs and it works in the web browser and on other devices.

Hi folks,

Thank you for keeping in touch.

@Lostdawn Could you please confirm if you've already followed the steps shared by the other mods?

@PenguinPsyco Please follow these steps to run a clean reinstall of the app, as this one is more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful to get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

After that, make sure to download it again from the Microsoft Store.

Let us know how this goes!

Hi there @PenguinPsyco,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome!

As a first step, try logging out, restarting your device and your router, and logging back in.

If the issue persists, try clearing your hosts file by following the steps you'll find in this article. Even though its title is for a different topic, you'll find the steps to follow after scrolling down a bit.

Keep us posted on how it goes.

Hey there @PenguinPsyco

Thanks for getting back to us and letting us know that.

In this case, could you let us know if you're using any VPNs? If so, we suggest that you turn it off since it can affect the app's performance.

On another note, would you mind trying with a different internet connection to check if that makes the difference?

Keep us posted on how it goes.

I am not using a VPN and a change in network connection did not fix anything

I am having the same problem with my PC

Works fine on my iPad, phone and laptop...
