Not playing adverts

I use the free service on the web page for the last few days when we have got to the adverts it just stops  playing , no sound and no movement forward. Only way to start again is to reload the page and start again. This is a real pain as it happens about every third song. Could someone sort it out please.

Can you let us know if this only happens on one specific browser or on different ones? Is it only on one Windows device?

Consider trying the following if you haven't already:

• If you use any kind of Adblocker, disable it, as it may be trying to block the ads and thus preventing them from playing
• Check your browser's DRM settings and ensure that Spotify has what it needs to work properly. The Widevine DRM for Chrome in particular is necessary for everything to work.
• Try it in an incognito window too and if it works there, then try disabling any extensions you have, as those might be causing this.
