Nothing is Working.

DISREGARD THE FOLLOWING POST, THE ERROR RESOLVED ITSELF

Hey, I know the title is vague, but I dont know where to begin. Upon starting up spotify on my computer after work, nothing was working. It was perfetly fine a few hours earlier.

To start from the beginning, I clicked the icon on my desktop and it gave me an error telling me it was not responding. The next thing I tried was to end it using task manager. I tried reopening but got the same error. I then decided to reinstall spotify. 

Upon opening, everything looked fine at first (until I hit the play button). When I hit play, the bar was stuck at 0:00 but the play/pause symbol could be pressed. I tried changing playlists and songs, but they were all unresponsive. I ended spotify again, then decided to uncheck the high quality streaming thing. I found that if I tried to change the song, change the playlist, hit play or pause, or touch any other setting, everything would become unresponsive but still clickable. It got weirder when I noticed the bar at the bottom begin to move but no sound was playing. The song "finished" but its now on its 3:06/3:06 and nothing is happening. 

I restarted it again and its back to being unresponsive and the bar is at 0:00

I really don't know what is going on or how to explain it simply enough to search for an answer. I've been using google for hours and cannot find an answer. Please help.

Also, If I try opening it without ending it with task manager first, I get the "The Spotify application is no responding" error box. I also tried using the web browser to play music, nothing is happening there either. My phone somehow works, but I dont know why BOTH my desktop version and my browser version dont work. (my phone works but headphones are garbage). Also, now I cant hear anything like youtube or netflix.

Also I am going to bed so I wont be able to respond until tomorrow, I've stayed up longer than I would have liked to trying to fix this.

It somehow fixed itself. I left to go brush my teeth and decided to give it one more try and it worked. I wish I knew how it was fixed.
