Offline on PC while streaming on Echo Dot

Hello,

I am trying to fix an issue where I am unable to use the offline function on my Desktop to listen to my downloaded playlist on spotify without it kicking a streaming Echo Dot.

Example: I want to listen to my offline playlist on my Desktop, while my mother uses the Echo Dot to stream music online. If I attempt to switch to offline mode on my PC, it stops streaming on the Echo Dot.

I think the issue has something to do with my desktop spotify saying that it's streaming to the echo, therefore making the desktop more of a remote and less of a device.

Is there any way to allow me to listen on one device remotely, with out it kicking a currently streaming device?
