Option for Showing Recently played Artists resets by Restart

My Question or Issue

I recently noticed, that my option for showing my recently played artist in the option menu is reseting itself. This happens everytime, when I close my windows app. I wanted to disable the function of showing my recently played artists in the social section of the options, but if I close the app and restart it, it is always enabled again. I even tried to delete and reinstall the app, but the problem stays the same and the option is still reseting it by closing the spotify app. Can you help me?

I'm having the same problem but I want to enable this feature. Even though I enable it, it never shows up on my profile, and when I close the app and open it again, it's reset back to disabled. Following this post.
