Other people on my wifi using my spotify account

My Question or Issue

 I live in a houseshare, and I've recently noticed a few playlists being added to my account that I didn't add. I've tried logging out of all accounts and changing my password. I assumed that people were using my account at work or something, but when my partner was using it at home they could see that someone else was listening to it and was able to override whatever they were listening to. 

Is there a way of disabling this? I get why spotify connect would connect to other users, but it doesn't make sense that people would someone be able to have that much control of an account.
