My Question or Issue
On one playlist instead of number of song i can see only note, but on others normally i can see the song numbers. Also i can see "release date" under which nothing is written, when on others i can see "date added" with correct date.
I really care to see the song numbers.

Hey again @ProRok,
Thanks for keeping us in the loop.
We're glad to hear that you're no longer experiencing the issue.
If anything else comes up, we're always a message away.
Have a good one 🙂
Hey folks,
Hope you're doing great!
Just to clarify things a bit, this is an expected behavior in playlists with mixed content. When you have a playlist that contains at least one podcast episode, the number of tracks will be changed to an icon to indicate if it is a song, or a podcast episode.
Taking this into account, if you want to see the number of tracks again, just remove from the playlist all the podcasts episodes it contains.
Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, the Community is just a post away!
Hi there @ProRok,
Thank you for your post here in the Community.
Can you perform a clean reinstall of the app? This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.
If that doesn't do the trick, can you provide us a screenshot so that we can have a closer look directly from your end?
We'll keep an eye out for your reply.
Cheers!
I reinstalled the app right after the bug occurred but it didn't work.
And something about 1 hour ago it repaired itself

Hi Jeremy,
I tried your solution but it didn't work for me. Is there anything else that can be done to resolve the issue?
Hey @ben-,
Thanks for the post.
Can you let us know if the playlist on which you're having this issue is created by you? And, does it happen on every playlist in your library?
Cheers.
Hey @ben-,
It seems that your last reply hasn't been sent properly, could you try again?
Cheers.
Oh sorry, this happens with playlists I’ve created. Around 2 or 3 of the 7 playlists I’ve made have this issue.
Hey @ben-,
Thanks for the reply.
We'd recommend copying the songs from those playlists and pasting them in new ones.
This could be caused by old and corrupted data on your device. Can you let us know if the duration and track number of those playlists isn't visible on all your devices?
We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
That’s correct, the issue persists across all devices. The playlist in question is quite popular and I’m not too keen on the idea of deleting it. Is it possible for support to assist in fixing the issue?
Hey @ben-,
Thanks for the reply.
As moderators we don't have direct access to your account or music library, so we can't manually influence that from our end.
Can you let us know if this issue is present on all your devices - mobile, deskto, web player? And whether the playlists that do have this issue, contain a large number of songs.
Cheers.
Ah all good. Yes the issue is present on all my devices, the playlists that do have this issue only contain around 55-150 songs.
Hey @ben-,
Thanks for the info.
Could you share with us the URIs of the specific playlists? You can also send us a screenshot of what you're seeing. We'll look into this further.
Keep us posted.
I have the same issue, but I also found the cause (at least, for me).
It's caused by one of the tracks not being a song, but a podcast episode. That has a different symbol than a song, so Spotify decides to replace track numbers with symbols. Duh.
Hi @BigFurryMonster,
Thank you for posting on this thread!
We did some tests from our side and were able to replicate the same behavior you mention. We'd like to have some more information to keep investigating this.
Please share with us the make, model and OS of your devices, as well as the Spotify version you're running. Also, let us know if you've performed any troubleshooting steps.
Keep us posted.
Hi @MafeG,
I’m using an Apple MacBook Air (13-inch, 2017) running macOS Big Sur Version 11.6. The Spotify version on my Mac is Spotify for MacOS (Intel) 1.1.73.517.gbef50fdb.
I’m also using an Apple iPhone 11 running iOS 14.8. The Spotify version on my iPhone is v8.6.82.
This issue has been present for around 10 months now (I noticed it around February). In that time I’ve done numerous restarts, shutdowns, updates, logging in & out, etc but to no avail.
*edit* I just realised this reply was meant for @BigFurryMonster, however I’m sure my info will still be useful so I’ll keep it here.
Is it possible for users to actually @ people here or is that reserved for mods only?
@BigFurryMonster I think you’re bang on the money. It so happens that all my affected playlists have at least one podcast in them. Good find!
Hi folks,
Thanks for the replies.
We'd like to ask anyone who is expeiencing this to please share the make, model and OS of your devices, as well as the Spotify version you're running.
Cheers 🙂
In case anyone has this problem again, I found that the issue for me was that I had podcast episodes in the playlist which stopped the list being numbered.
