Podcast playlist only shuffle plays

My Question or Issue

Podcast playlists do not play in order. I have tried to sort it by different categories, like oldest first, newest first, but the queue doesn't follow it up.

There is no button for shuffle playing in Podcast mode, at least not right now for Windows 10, so why does it keep going like that?

Thanks for searching for the answer you need here.

Could you switch playback to music and make sure shuffle is disabled there? This setting gets carried over when switching to podcasts, even tough the button is unavailable there.

If that doesn't do the trick, it's a good idea to clean reinstall Spotify on the device where this occurs. This step lets you start afresh with the latest app version by removing any corrupted files from previous installations.
