Podcasts resetting when paused

On my spotify Windows 10 player, I spend a lot of time listening to podcasts and starting today, when I am in the middle of a podcast and I pause the playback for one reason or another, it resets the playback and goes back to the beginning at 0:00. I've tried a complete reinstall and restarted the computer but the problem persists. I've replicated this error with multiple podcasts, albeit all on one device.

I am also having this issue. I've only been listening to one podcast, but the error has happened on both my Android phone and Windows 7 computer.

Solved.  Switch to Google Music. Podcasts work perfectly.
