Privacy settings don't save

Hello,

I try to turn all my privacy settings off so no-one can see my activity or my recent artists, but every time I close spotify and reopen it, the settings all go back to on.

I've tried using both the windows store and the version from the spotify website and running them both in admin mode, but the settings always reset.

Anyone know how to fix this?
