I have the most recent Spotify app and i need to know how to remove things from  my Recently Played if that's at all possible.

Currently, it's not possible to remove items from Recently played. 

However, it looks like other users would like this option as well and posted this idea. You can add your support there by up-voting the idea. We'll inform on any developments there, as soon as there are any. So make sure to subscribe, if you haven't already.
