Random Skipping and Altered Queue

Persistent problem recently: songs will randomly skip part way through. Often a song I don't recognize starts playing and I have a new queue (Baila Morena by Joe Cohen usually starts, I've never heard of the song or artist), mostly of rap music, which is not a genre I listen to on spotify. The other day spotify started randomly playing music while I was asleep.

That doesn't sound quite right.

Are you sure that nobody else is using your account?

If not, try these steps:

Go to your profile page

2. Scroll down

3. Click on 'Sign Out Everywhere'

4. Change your password through the password reset page
