How is the Spotify UI experience on desktop (Windows 10) so much worse than mobile? All I want is the ability to see which of my Podcasts has a new episode - something available on mobile but not desktop. 

Adding in the total lack of support for Spotify in general, I'm thinking Spotify doesn't give a damn about providing a quality subscription service.

Absolutely agree!
This issue has been raised in many guises on this forum but I dont understand why Spotify dont seem to do anything about something so simple that already exists on all other platforms!!
I and many others I know are becoming jaded by their patronising responses and lack of support.
