Reinstalling Spotify without needing to redownload songs

So I want to be able to reinstall spotify without having my already downloaded songs deleted and having to redownload them again. How do I go about that?

I'm afraid it's currently not possible to do so, at least not in the easy way.
I suppose one could find out in which folder the downloaded content is, keep the folder in another place for the reinstallation time and then put it back. But I am certainly not sure if it would work.

You could post this idea to the Ideas board, for people on low data limit it could be a rather useful feature!
