'Remember me' option default to off

'Remember me' option default to off

I need to set the defualt position of the 'remember me' option to 'off'. What idiot thought that a 'fail unsafe' option was the best??

I work on a computer that is used by others, and if I forget, anyone else afterwards could use my account.

Think of every other place where you have a remember me check box. You always have to ask it to remember. Imagine if your bank account remember by default... I've asked Spotify, but I don't think they understand where I am coming from.

Is there anyone out there who would be able to find a way to set this option to 'public computer'. Maybe in the registry files...

I agree whole heartedly! Every. Effin. Time! It can't be that hard, can it? Imagine if it was the other way around, that spotify never remebered your ID even though you checked Remember Me, I bet that'd be fixed quite soon. This is a severe security risk, and extremely annoying.

I wouldnt hold your breath about it being fixed anytime soon, its been screwed for over 2 years but spotify dont seem to be bothered to fix it

Apparantly its expected behaviour and there is nothing to fix ...........

I know this is an on-going issue, but I tried again to get Spotify to understand that a fail 'unsafe' protocol is dangerous, but no luck.

The guy I was talking to wouldn't pass the Elisa test i.e. a human that I'm not sure wuld pass as being a human. He was incapable of understanding that having to remember to log-out was a massive potential security risk.

I hate that I have to speak to people who don't understand. It makes me sad because I end up assuming that everyone is an idiot. It's not true, but it seems like everyone on a help desk couldn't find their own arsehole using both hands!
