Search and central window stop if Spotify unused for 5-10mins

My Question or Issue

With Spotify open but not used for say 5-10mins the search bar fails (can type but no action) and central 'playing' window goes blank. Re-start needed.

Thanks for reaching out, thanks so much for letting us know and we`re sorry to hear this is happening over on your side.

This is a peculiar issue, we would advise for you to try performing a clean uninstall by following the steps in this article. That way you can start with the app anew and any possible mishaps that might`ve occurred during an update will be removed.
