Search shortcut no longer focuses search bar

Search shortcut no longer focuses search bar

Plan: Premium

Country: United States

Device: Desktop PC

Operating System: Windows 10

Since the latest Spotify UI refresh, the Ctrl+l shortcut for Search no longer focuses the search box. It used to focus the search box so that you can start typing in your search. Since the update, it brings up the Search page but it defocuses the search box before you can start typing. If you then press Ctrl+l again while you're already on the search page, it focuses the search box. I don't think this is the intended behavior, as I can't see how it would be beneficial to make people press Ctrl+l twice to actually search. The Keyboard Shortcuts page that appears when you type Ctrl+/ lists Ctrl+l as the shortcut to Search, and the new Spotify FAQ mentions in #5 that "you can hit Ctrl+l to jump to search even faster." This assures me that this keyboard shortcut is official and should be properly supported.
