Settings keeps resetting after restarting PC...

Issue

Every time i restart my PC the settings revert back even if I changed them. I have no clue when spotify saves the settings but it seems to be at random and its really annoying. This seems to be a well known issue since it was supposed to be fixed in 2015. The only "fix" I found was to listen to a 300+ song playlist and then resetting your PC, issue is this will automatically save the last song you listened to so that will always play as default.
