My Question or Issue

I installed the Spotify app on a new PC from the Windows Store. I swear there used to be an option in settings to reopen the Spotify app from the Windows notification area (next to the clock) with a single click, but I can't find it.

How do I configure this?

Hey there @EXPTA

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

If you want Spotify to open automatically when you turn your PC on, you just need to head over to Settings > Startup and window behavior > and toggle the Open Spotify automatically, after you log into the computer option on.

If you didn't mean this, could you send us a screenshot where we can see to which area are you referring to so we can take a closer look? Make sure not to send any private info.

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

No, I'm talking about re-opening the Spotify app that is already running with a single click of the icon in the Notification Area.

Hi there @EXPTA,

Thanks for the reply.

In the current version of the app, there is no such option. You have to DoubleClick the icon in order to open app.

Hope this clears things up 🙂
