Skipping tracks only in 5.1 on Realtek audio with sonic studio

My Question or Issue

Never had this problem before, but after an audio driver update spotify began to skip all tracks of my playlist, the song does not even start it skips to next instantly and next and next and so on. After messing with the audio settings, I found out that if I set my speaker configuration to stereo or 7.1, it fixes the problem, but if I set to 5.1 or quadraphonic, that is when the problem happens.
I have 5.1 speakers on my PC, setting to anything other than 5.1 is the wrong settings for my setup.
