Are you getting any sort of an error message or any indication that something wrong with the app ?
If this is just a click on the play buttom that doesn't work, i'll address it differently than a prejected error.

Sorry to hear the has been happening again.
Please check that you OS is updated as it might cause the issue to accure again.
In addition, make sure you audio drivers are updated as well and consider even reinstalling them as it tends to do the trick in cases like this.
