My Question or Issue
Hey!
Spotify on my computer updated yesterday. Before, when I add songs to playlists, they end up in the bottom of the playlist - but now they end up at the top. On my phone they end up at the bottom. I prefer to have added songs at the bottom of the playlist, is there any way of automatically having added songs at the bottom of an playlist?
Same. It's maddening. I know people complained before about songs being added to the bottom, but what we need is a way for users to choose where songs are added. I make playlists like mixtapes, and it's maddening for a song to be put at the top rather than the bottom.
I don't understand what you mean.
Can't find a menu for playlist or to change it sorting settings to custom.
I leave the screenshots
Hey there everyone,
Thanks for posting, we'll gladly help you out.
You're able to sort your playlists by date added in increasing/ decreasing order on desktop. This support page has detailed instructions on how to do this.
If you don't see any of these options, it's possible that the app is malfunctioning due to a corrupted cache. This is usually resolved by performing a clean reinstall.
Hope this shines a bit of light on the matter. We'll be here if you have any other questions.
Hi @Vitrix,
Thanks for the clarification.
If the functionality of your Desktop client has changed since the last update, this means that you're part of the New Desktop experience test. Our developers aim at improving the app and they're looking for direct user feedback. Head over to This Thread and add you feedback as a post there. This will help the team in developing a better Desktop app, that satisfies the user needs.
You'll find more info in the thread from above.
Hope you find this useful. Don't hesitate to give us a shout if you have more questions 🙂
