Songs won't play at all on Windows

There's no playback at all on the Spotify Windows app - none of my songs or songs that come up on browsing will play. On every song is the error message: 'This song is not available. If you have the file on your computer you can import it.' Can anyone help?

How long has this been going on for? What device, operating system, and Spotify version are you running?

Does restarting the app make a difference? You can also try logging out and back in a few times to see if it helps.
