Spotify Desktop App not working

Spotify Desktop App not working

I kept getting the error that my Spotify wasn't connected to the internet, even though my browsers and all other online functions were working.  So I uninstalled and reinstalled the app.  Now, when I enter my credentials and hit Log In, all the options become grayed out and nothing else happens.  I know it's not the login information that's bad because it's working on mobile.  What can I do to remedy this?

Hey @horanmi, welcome to the Community!

 

Try checking your anti-virus or firewall settings to make sure you haven't made any restrictions that are preventing Spotify from connecting.

 

If so, change them to allow Spotify to access the internet. That should do the trick.
