My Question or Issue

Sounds cuts out and in randomly. On all three "devices" since 5-6 Month. Mostly on Sonos and Windows App.

 

Sound plays further, but its like muted for about 3-5 seconds and then it plays further, but missing the part.

 

Tested on following:

Sonos alone

Windows App (Spotify Windows 1.2.4.912.g949d5fd0) streaming to Sonos

Tesla Spotify App

 

Interessting fact: If i scroll back -> its muted, scroll it a second time back -> its not muted and plays that part.

 

Sounds like a cache issue on a streamserver, or a dropout in internet line and missed cache line?

 

Another Thing: im on fiber. No IPv4, maybe this is an issue? (Ok Tesla is not on ipv6)..

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

 

In this case, we'd like to gather some additional info. Would you mind sending us the exact Spotify version and OS you are running on your computer? Is the web player working as it should? It'd be awesome if you could check.

 

On another note, did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event such as an OS update? If yes, please send us the details.

 

Since you mentioned this is happening in a Sonos speaker, would you mind checking if there are any firmware updates pending for it?

 

Lastly, and just to check, if you open a different account while listening to Spotify in your car, do you notice any difference?  It'd be great if you could ask for the account of a relative or a friend to open it in your car and check.
